Discussion > Revisiting the Ozone Hole in 2011

It has always disappointed me that the internet was not available in the good old days of "The Ozone Hole"; but perhaps I was too impatient as it has re-surfaced in this report (linked below) by Anthony Watts at an opportune time when alarmism is on the ropes. Anthony's report and the subsequent comments opens the hole to internet scrutiny and allows a real flow of the information that never made the news back in the days of the 1989 Montreal Protocol, and of studies since.
This report should at the very least cause unease amongst believers in the science which is less settled by the day; and perhaps disturb them enough to cause a reappraisal of the entire catastrophic global warming monster.
Ozone hole “…caused a great deal of the climate change that’s been observed”

This essay attempts to evaluate the scientific evidence peeling off the familiar environmental decorative wrapping paper:-
