Discussion > Can Hijacked Charities be brought back to democracy ?

Green Fundamentalist Activists seem to regularly use the trick of hijacking organisations from the inside and imposing their minority opinion
The COOP, RSPCA, RSPB, WWF, The Royal Society, National Trust, unions, scouts etc.

(That's in addition to dirty tricks like ambush names and practices like calling themselves SkepticalScience or patroling forum claiming to be physists when they are not qualified.)

Surely that's an attack on democracy ?
Is there anyway to get democracy back ..or should people be informed of alternative organisations they can be supporting ?

- One thing is the dynamic is that unscrupulous renewables organisations have the cash to buy their way in to these orgs.. yet skeptics don't have anywhere near the same amount of cash.

In shopping I certainly avoid any business that engages in voluntary greenwash.(although some have been blackmailed into it)

The line from these orgs is that they are "VERY concerned about climate change" ie at the hysterical end
That doesn't seem the most popular view across society

Wonder if there are any accurate surveys on what proportion are "VERY concerned about climate change" ?
Lack of evidence seems like evidence .. I would guess that the numbers don't reflect what the alarmists want ..otherwise they would be hyping them.
- I can find the odd survey where "FAIRLY concerned about climate change" is 45% , Very 20%, Not Very Concerned 23%, Not at all 10% ... according to DECC

and almost every survey rates "climate change" at the bottom of peoples priorities in lists of worries
