1. David Cameron son in law of the £1000/day subsidy wind baron
Bish just tweeted a Wayback machine page : a schedule from the 2008 Conservative party conference
Greenpeace's decentralised energy campaign rocked fundamental assumptions underlying the recent Energy Review with David Cameron declaring "the future is decentralised".Later Cameron introduced an Invite only presentation of Al Gore's film An Inconvenient Truth.

Here's a transcript on the BBC News website, with Jon Sopel interviewing David Cameron in 2006, just before the publication of the Stern report:
David Cameron: Well what we, and Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth agree about is that we should have a Climate Change Bill...
....Before "I agree with Nick", there was "I agree with Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth". :o)
2. Graham Stuart, the MP for Beverley and Holderness is heavily involved in an organisation called Globe International which seems similar to Agenda 21

David Keighley: Climate change alarmism. Another obsession of an unaccountable elite
article in conservativewoman.co.uk
He is a climate change alarmist zealot – and in that capacity, he was elected global chairman in 2013 of a body called Global International. ....I had not heard of it, either. Turns out that it has vast resources, is supported by governments throughout the world (including of course the United Kingdom’s ). Its purpose is to create a mass of international legislation – broadly in line with what the EU also wants - that ensures that all the principles of climate change alarmism are incorporated in domestic national legislation throughout the world
Their next big change-the-world junket is in Nairobi next June. This is what they say:
'As lawmakers, we are essential to translating internationally agreed climate mitigation targets and poverty reduction goals into binding national legislation...'By involving parliamentarians at an early stage, we actually make our international environmental regimes much stronger and more effective.'
"these people have the power and resources to ensure that they get what they want. And damn democracy"
"Stuart is so fanatical about his views that he also sits on the board of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit. This was formed and is run by the BBC’s former so-called ‘environment’ correspondent Richard Black, whose news reports were object lessons in propaganda. His ‘Unit’ claims to provide a debating platform about climate issues, but this is BBC-style Newspeak: its real aim" is to smear & deceive
Infiltrators? Do you think it impossible, immoral, sinister to be both green minded and right of centre? I'll admit that the Tories are doing their best to drive away anyone who likes environmental protection and renewables and doesn't want fracking under their house. But maybe the real infiltrators are those who want to run the Tory party into a version of the intolerant, toxic right of the US Republican party.
Raff,
It's good to know two things
1. Cards not laid on table
2. The power behind the thrown (aka Yes Dear syndrome)
OK, so the socialist/democrat side of things aren't toxic and intolerant, got that.
Stew,
Nepotism is alive and well in all shades of politics (in al human endeavours in fact) to get a real picture you need to find out what partners and children are involved in. A bit of a major undertaking
Voting records might throw up some unusual behaviour.
Sandy your 1/2 are too cryptic for me. Yes there are toxic and intolerant socialists and Democrats too, but the Tory party isn't trying to emulate them, only the Republican sort.
- just gathering together a few important things that emerged on Unthreaded please post any good info and tips that you have
