One risk is that, in bringing these names into the general consciousness, we could be bringing greater retribution upon the otherwise innocent.
Perhaps it would be more circumspect to ask the sceptical scientists to add themselves to your list.

On the effects on human health thread the other day, two names of scientists who openly defied the hysterical wave of CAGW came up. One was Dr Indur Goklany, and the other was Paul Reiter.
On reflection, I think it's worth identifying the scientists and those in related professions who risked a great deal because they refused to be intimidated. While it's no cakewalk now, it was especially difficult in the years around 2007, the peak of alarmism.
So, let's start an Honour Roll.
