Hi, thought someone out there might be able to help me. I’ve just got involved in a group that are doing a community project. It involves a lot of discussion and sharing of images. While the output from the project will be our work, the images are not and the project itself needs some privacy to maintain its final impact when the public are involved.

The work doesn’t quite fit the nature of a blog, because the information needs to be continually revisited. I’m thinking a forum, preferably one with headers and sub headers. Someone suggested Facebook but I’m not familiar with it, so I don’t know if it’s suited to logical project work. Additionally, I don’t want the images to be mined and become the property of an internet company.

Does anyone know what might be the best and cheapest platform to share images, project progress and discuss things?
