Wikipedia says that technology is the application of science, Oxford compact English Dictionary says technology is the study or use of the mechanical arts and applied sciences.
What a nice hole we are digging ^.^
Not at all, even in linguistics you are getting confused.
science (small s) just means 'knowledge'.
What I am talking about is Science (big s) which is the methodical investigation of the world around. The one you go to university to study, they one they have faculties of. The one in the second part of the name 'Climate Science'.
Incidentally, Wikipedia does not define 'Technology' as 'the application if science' Unfortunately it makes a similar grievous error in its definition:
Technology ("science of craft", from Greek τέχνη, techne, "art, skill, cunning of hand"; and -λογία, -logia
The Greek τέχνη, as it says, means "art, skill, cunning of hand". The "science" part comes from the λογία ending, which means "study of". Whoever wrote this entry equated "study" and "science", which is fair enough in a loose semantic way, since they can be used as synonyms in some circumstances. What they did not do is say that the τέχνη part of the word meant it means science.
Technology means "the study of making things", which you may change to "the science of making things" if you like loose language, but none of it means it is Science.
[3]) is the collection of techniques, skills, methods and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation. Technology can be the knowledge of techniques, processes, etc. or it can be embedded in machines, computers, devices and factories, which can be operated by individuals without detailed knowledge of the workings of such things.
You are reduced to obfuscation BYJ, Universities teach science subjects and I am sure that all the subjects they teach within that category can be accurately described as Science. However the universities are not attempting to define the word, it is simply a useful category in which to place some of the subjects taught. However fear not BYJ if you are going to stoop so low then I will not trouble your thread again pffft

Unless you are publicly demonstrating your faith, it is impossible to talk about something that does not exist. The idea that there is a man-made climate disaster is refuted by the evidence. However, the money focuses on rent-seeking alarmists and the gullible.
Talking about something that does not exist is impossible unless you are openly exhibiting your beliefs. The evidence disproves the hypothesis that a man-made climate catastrophe exists. The money is concentrated on naive people and rent-seeking alarmists, though.

None of which are science. They are all technology.
