CAGW has prevented developing countries from acheiving all the above. Developed countries have seen all the developed bits, corrupted.

They've managed to create a system that transfers loads of money from the poor to the rich. Whether it's landowners and windmills or home owners and their solar panels. All paid for by people who don't even own their own roof. Don't forget the huge donations to those who drive an electric car. It doesn't matter that it's almost always the add on for a family with more than one car already. Then there's the carbon trading schemes that the beloved of the Mafia and big business. They give solar panels to people who need proper power systems to delay them industrialising and wanting the stupid stuff we want like clean water, fridges, clean cooking. Warmists are like a back to front Robin Hood.

Compare 1980s New Scientist with today’s fanzine.
Compare the criticism of economists, politicians and even artists with the adulation given to scientists.
If bad plays can be put on in the West End then bad science can be put in a journal. There are far lower barriers to entry.
But Journalists no longer review science.

M Courtney, you can make Bio Diesel on perfectly good arable land normally used to grow food. Loads do it, because of generous subsidies, especially in the USA, and so there is less surplus, and nothing to feed the starving around the world unless they can pay the inflated prices.
People starving can then be blamed on global warming.

Perhaps the greatest achievement of the Climate Concerned is the emergence of a major industry based on the demands and claims of the Climate Concerned. This industry costs the world in the range of over one hundred billion US per year and produces nothing of value. It does not preserve the environment, it does not modify the climate, nor does it assist those outside of the actual industry. This industry of the Climate Concerned is a large parasite on the rest of the people of the world.
