Discussion > Controversial Fantasyworld, BBC Themepark : list of attractions.

I should differentiate between the two sides of Fantasyland ..the darkside a parody of their thinking and the whiteside ..things that only exist in Fantasyland not the real real world

eg. on the White side
Attraction #13 The Big Oil Media campaign
: A zone where huge speakers boom out "denier" propaganda, and where TV sets show TV progs, BBC progs where skeptics dominate on almost every few hours ... with lots of Big Oil industry spokesmen with big oil money poking out their pockets.

#2 The moneypits are also a whiteside
It's staggering how many lefties I meet really think the government holds back from handing out money just to be nasty
..really telling me, "of course they can borrow money" or "all money is made up..they can make it out of thin air

Stewgreen, perhaps play nicer? (Note - a suggestion only). Are PhilC and the retired science teacher really trolls? Just think what BH would be without their input, they are irritants but also stimulating. They are soon rebutted and this process, I would suggest, is beneficial to the site. I have leaned much from responses to their contributions.

I suppose I should be grateful that you did not cast me into a cavern alongside them. But then I couldn't be in two places at once (even in a fantasy), and I presume my role is as an entrance meeter and greeter.

Unattraction 13 needs to expand to cover all hydrocarbons. So it would include pro-fracking, Big Coal and Arctic Drilling propaganda.

Some of your unattractions seem not to be unique to a BBC themepark. 13 for example could equally find a home in a politics or green park ( perhaps your enterprise should expand to other venues ( even more threads? ( just the slightest of mockery here)).

I would happily contribute to a proCAGW -Green theme park, which would offer far more scope. Almost every day there is an outrageous story in the media that could be worked up into an attraction.

I open discussion like this
"
Imagine a themepark operated by the BBC/Guardian in the UK and then franchised to other progressive media across the world.
Why ? cos while there is a true REAL world where reality operates, the new Alice in Wonderland film shows you can create Fantasyworlds in the imagination where a different set of rules applies.
- The world the BBC/Guardian report on, seems to be often this Fantasyworld rather the real world.
In Fantasyworld you can mix reality/"
