The BBC has no problem with giving many national broadcast opportunities to Extinction Rebellion and a fifteen year old girl with strong climate change views but it avoids giving publicity to those who question the alarmism.

The Corporation does not question statements such as:

Extinction Rebellion’s Rupert Read on UK law to ensure net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 “We are saying the target ought to be 2025, and 2050 is death basically, 2050 is genocide, 2050 means the collapse of our civilisation”

Clearly, the BBC approves of these claims and provide maximum publicity.
