I wonder if Andrew Montford would kindly approve our using a “Discussion” thread on his excellent Bishop Hill blog for this purpose.

I will await input from other members of ACA who may not be ready to break cover yet.

Surely these conclusions were pre-ordained when the Politically Correct government apparatchiks hand picked both the participants AND their instructors.

I believe that the weather forecast for the S70 area is currently POOR for this Tuesday.

I have just looked at

BBC.co.uk/weather/2656284/. For Barnsley-by-the-sea and the weather is:

"22 degrees high, 13 low, light rain showers and a gentle breeze".

As this is an outdoor event I will postpone the launch / anniversary / birthday event until Thursday 9th July, starting at 6pm or 1800 hrs. Social distancing and groupsizes as per regulations in force that week.

I expect it will be facemask and flippers (sea level rise, don't ya know)
