All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace, now (BBC2). Tackling the growth of the greenies from the 1960s (and earlier), Club of Rome, Gaia etc. Very interesting. Worth catching on iPlayer.
What has happened to the BBC enquiry into science bias?- It was supposed to report in April this year- a year after it started. Are they hoping we will forget about it?

Wonder if there is a Climate Conference due, feels like the usual flurry of alarmist press releases have been picked up by the Guardian and Independent, latest is this one.

asinine, stupid if you prefer
Meanwhile, down here in Oz, the Australian Conservation Foundation and assorted other Green groups are going to shut down the Battersea Power Station as they implore us to "Say yes to a carbon tax". As all of you over there know and as illustrated in their video, Battersea spews out plumes of evil dark CO2. All we have to do is "Say yes to a carbon tax" and ... and.. (Mandrake gestures hypnotically) .. and .. !poof! , the evil gas is gone.
They have spent $1 million telling us about it and employed notables such as Cate Blanchett to reinforce the point in a relentless prime time television campaign. Ms Blanchett is worth $53 million but is committed to fighting climate change, so much so that she has a $1.2 million solar system on her $10 million Sydney home.
If it wasn't so asine it would be hilarious. Here's the story and here's the ad.

I was just going to say the same thing. What a fascinating program. I didn't know BBC2 showed programs like that any more. Essential viewing.
