I see David King is off on his own in the Telegraph this morning.
Hot 2003 summer was climate. Cold 2010 winter was weather, presumably.

In a special edition of HARDtalk, recorded in front of an audience at the Editorial Intelligence conference in Portmeirion, North Wales, Stephen Sackur talks to the world renowned American oceanographer, Sylvia Earle. Five decades of underwater exploration have left her convinced that our seas, and therefore our planet, are in grave peril. But how can she convince the world to take notice of a global threat which is by definition, below the surface; invisible to most of us?

Blame it on Climate Change

mct's link points to an Oz oped by the (late, unlamented) Selwyn Gummer:
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/climate-change-doubters-are-endangering-our-common-future/story-fn59niix-1226025032986
It contains this wonderful remark: "it would be wrong to endanger our children by hoping for the best". I hope his daughter Cordelia gets to see it.
Karl Denninger shreds a CAGW oped in his inimitable style:

Climategate junkies will recall that the first detailed analysis of the Harry_read_me file was conducted by financial software programmers at Denninger's forum.
More good news on wind power (NOT)
Losses before tax rose to £1.9m, up from £400,000 in the corresponding six-month period a year ago. In a statement, it blamed "abnormally low wind speeds" for "over £1m of lost EBITDA".

Here's a link to Bob Watson on Today. He starts around 51' 20".

He moans that every time he's on that there's always a "denier" as well.....then the interview ends and moves on to something else! So where was the denier's opposing view then.
What a twit.
There is a growing sense of urgency to get the emissions targets and subsidies up, so that they can be in place and so ahrd to remove if and when CAGW is refuted.
Nice story from Roger Helmer about renewable subsidies.
