Slightly different take on what Japan is saying in Cancun

http://www.justin.tv/oneclimate/b/274978517 Japan will not commit to a second period of Kyoto unless USA and China commit to cuts too.

Hysteria over at the Guardian. Japan putting a pre-emptive boot into the Cancun talks.

Very funny talk in the comments of ‘intervention’ in countries that don't sign up to Cancun. Just can't wait for those Greenpeace military forces to occupy the US and Japan. That'll teach them!

Hi-Ho - First day of winter and the new ice-age is upon us.

Please! drop some of your well-paced objectivity and give a little bit of heat to the opposition! If only for fun.

Bob Ward has done a pre-emptive review of Bob Carter's lecture at GWPF. All very predictable. The D word appears in the heading.

Julian (of wiki leaks fame) claimed at a press conference that he and his organisation responsible for the climate gate e-mail leak of last year. See Jeff's Air Vent and Steve McIntyre's Climate Audit.

He is questioned at the most fawning press conference I've ever seen in my life and, like a teenager ad-libbing some dreadful dog ate my homework excuse, proceeds to ramble and splutter lie after lie after lie.

It's extraordinary.

He claims he has secret correspondence between him and UK intelligence backing this up. Unfortunately he can't leak that because it's, oh, secret.

I think this should be forwarded on to the Norfolk police Department, after all aren't they supposed to be about to inform us who is responsible for the climate gate leak?

Twenty activists are accused of conspiracy to trespass on private property. They were arrested last Easter before the group were able to carry out their plan to force E.ON's coal plant at Ratcliffe-on-Soar to shut down for a week.

James Hansen flew in from America as a star witness for the defence.
Hansen told the court the UK was the world's biggest carbon polluter on a per person basis since industrialisation so the onus was on the UK to lead the way in phasing out coal plants.

So a group of eco terrorists with plans to attack a UK power station are supported by the CAGW crowd, and the Gaurdian portrays the story as entirely acceptable!

Lock them up for a few years until they grow up.

There is an article in The Guardian about how the internet is revolutionizing access to political information (Wikileaks is the prime example). Change “political” to “scientific” and mutatis mutandis, the article applies to global-warming science.

Joe Bastardi asks, "Is the US NSIDC cooking the ice books? Sure looks that way if one is looking at all sites."
