Bishop Hill Lindzen in London update
Feb 8, 2012 Climate: Parliament Climate: Sceptics Philip Foster emails that the Lindzen talk has moved to a bigger venue: Wembley arena Committee Room 10.
Committee Room 10 (bigger!) but, as always, still could be changed again. Trace it at Westminster itself by looking for room booked by Sammy Wilson MP.
St Stephens Entrance for security, then head for main lobby and ask at desks for directions for the room number.

Please could people bear with us as the main aim is to get MPs and/or their researchers to come plus the Press (Leo Hickman of the Guardian already coming!). There are still only a total of 120 places for the room, though some standing room is presumably possible also.
We are getting a trickle of acceptances from MPs which could increase as the week goes by (they go on half term break next week so they could be bearded in their constituencies). So if people could also go to or write to their MP and urge them to come that would be a great help.
Would indeed we could have Wembley!! Or even the main chamber of the Commons!

Is anyone planning to "live blog" this exercise to provide real-time scrutiny by interested parties?
I wonder how many MPs, that need to hear this, will bother to trace the room changes.

Are there more tickets on sale now they have a bigger venue?
The ticket site still has the old details, and is sold out. I guess they'll get round to it soon.

Actually PT stands for Parliamentary Time. It works a bit like extra time at a football match, so, for example, if PM Questions over runs, ending, say, at 12.45 rather than 12.30 as it is scheduled to do, then 2pm PT is actually 2.15 real time but remains 2pm Parliamentary time and so on for the rest of the day (and night: occasionally it can be Wednesday in the real world but still Tuesday in Parliament)! And we think the Americans can be odd!
Just to add to the confusion: House of Commons time can be different to House of Lords time!
If I will manage to be there, I will live-blog it.

I hate to say this but RL is not the greatest communicator on the planet :( . MPs who have no prior knowledge of science will be put to sleep.
