I get a feeling of déjà vu. As with animal rights protesters, when the harmless idiots like Emma Thompson are given a free pass to flout the law and the BBC laps it up, then the less savoury characters are likely to take note. They won't turn up and bake cakes. Greenpeace and Emma will then say "No, nothing to do with us".
Emma and her luvvies issued another complaint yesterday when they discovered the honey wagon's contents were not exactly green manure. The entire ambience of the demo was ruined by an organic farmer, her supporters claimed. The media did not even come close to telling the whole sorry mess, nor did they come close.
If oil industry executives ever want somewhere to hold a televised meeting, they can invade Emma's home. Even better if she doesn't like it. The BBC can film her calling the police, and assessing how polite and efficient their response times are, at answering the phone.
If the Police did show up, they could be further assessed for inclusion into the Police Academy, of acting "seriously concerned about this situation", whilst doing nothing at all.
Alternatively, could a group of farmers drive to Emma's in their tractors, having invited themselves for sunday lunch? They could bring a slurry tanker, and park it outside.

I used to be indifferent to actors and singers' opinions but I'm beginning to hate them.

But you must be aware that Emmanure tells there is bad gas and good gas. Fracked gas is evil, wicked and nasty; good gas, which we use exclusively, is an enviro friendly, carbon neutral, biofuel (like that friendly farmer tried to give us the makings of). What's that, they both contain methane: horrors that's a pernicious greenhouse gas!! Turn it off before the media see us.
