Apr 18, 2019 Climate: WG2 Over the last week, the walrus story has developed a lot.
I wrote an update at the GWPF blog, and then looked at some potentially explosive details of the geography of Cape Kozhenikova.
Then I summarised the whole story for Reaction magazine.
I'd say the Netflix team coming out of this looking very bad indeed.

Damage control by the media on this story is going to be interesting....

looks like the media are going to treat it to a large dollop of evasion and omission with some tactical "ooh! look over there!!"s thrown in to divert attention.

I choose not to partake of the "Twatter" noise manufacturing operation, preferring honest-to-goodness English prose, grammar and syntax.
If you've not seen the evidence I unearthed I'd suggest it is worth a look - more camera angles to play with for one thing, plus dates from image EXIF (unfortunately no GPS), and a separate witness (though a friend of Kochnev). At least, Susan Crockford found it helpful.

If this is splashed on Briebart and picked up across the media which it will the American Humane Society that accredits animal welfare on all Hollywood Productions will have to investigate Netflix. And Attenborough.s home carers will have to get on Twitter and get feverishly apologising.
