Discussion > President Trump
Some people are pointing out the "incivility" on Twitter.
The "Anyone But Sanders" Democrats are shifting towards Joe Biden

"Super Tuesday Shakeup"
"With three of his former opponents throwing their support to him last night, does former Vice-President Joe Biden have the Joe-mentum to run the table in today’s Super Tuesday Primaries? Read our in-depth feature to learn more about the state of the race."
Biden must concentrate to remember what he stands for.

Biden is clearly in no fit state to run - Obamah's still pushing him away.
Bernie had a heart attack last November - and his base isn't growing - but it is hardening....
Bloomberg is seen as a Republican buying buying his way in...
Biden's evident confusion (where he pointedly does *not* acknowledge it) and his little episodes of anger is something I've now seen twice in people of his age where things didn't turn out well at all.
The Democrat nabobs wish to impose their "machine politics candidate" isn't going well at all. I wouldn't be surprised if Bloomberg dumps them and runs as an independent (wish I could get a wager on that with Ladbrokes)
Nunes ups the legal ante ....
- goes after WaPo / Bezos
Fred: you have to laugh! As commenter Richard - Thought Criminal said, below that headline: “Since the dead overwhelmingly vote Democrat, it only makes sense.” 😂 🤣

Difficult to top that, but Rachel Maddow et al has a lawyer that is having a stab at it.
Rachel Maddow, Comcast, NCB and MSNCB are literally being sued for defamation about accusations made by Maddow during a broadcast to the effect that OAN were "literally" "paid Russian propaganda". [I'll drop all quotation marks around the word literally hereinafter to save time and spare my grammatical errors.]
The lawyer is literally arguing that literally does not mean literally. Even given some helpful dictionary definitions about literally not always actually meaning literally, I think Maddow literally added the qualifier to make it really literally.
Whatever else it is, it is certainly fun. The fast-talking Youtube lawyer Viva Frei describes it here.

brilliant !
Thanks

The Democrat race to stab each other in the back, is on. The UK has had to endure 3 years with no sense of direction, but growing public frustration.
The Democrats were so confident that Trump wouldn't survive to see a second Christmas in the White House, a third was out of the question. They seem to have forgotten how an election is supposed to be won. Labour lost voters in the UK, Democrat voters may get disillusioned and decide to vote for a President with a track record of improving their lives.
As a successful businessman, Bloomberg will be surprised and annoyed not to have done better. If it turns in to anger towards Biden or Sanders, he might choose to get his revenge, but he knows that Trump's likely success in the end, seems more likely. St Hillary still believes her rightful home is The White House

Trump said HE would not go after St Hillary, but that did not stop Democrats waging war on Trump. If key Republicans choose to go after key Democrats during 2020, popcorn sales will increase. Team Trump will be seeking discounts for bulk buying.
Harsh but understandable early morning banter from Mrs Biden:
"I'm your wife. It's 2020. Trump is the president. You are running in the Democratic primary. You were Obama's VP, but he won't endorse you. Don't talk about Ukraine. Speak as little as possible and try not to sniff people."

Surely she is not hoping to be VP, and then take over should Biden stumble over forgetfulness?
Hopefully Trump understands British humour

and with a *pop* >> Bloomberg's out.
It's not difficult to imagine that he might have done better as an independent - his branding being tainted by having to slug it out with a crowd of irredeemable dopes.
Mark Twain — 'Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.'
Biden v. Bernie - who are the running mates likely to be? Quite important given the obviously ailing health of the pair of them.

The Democrats are lining up to back "anyone but Bernie", and Biden has had a few senior moments already. The VP post could lead to career progression
St Hillary may have been hopeful.
Bloomberg is now behind Biden.
Now Obama as well?
Obama and Bloomberg can both agree it should be anyone but St Hillary.
More Hunter Biden stuff hitting the streets - not that Joe needs it.
Biden needs to move away from damage control onto positive messages - that doesn't seem to be happening. Chuck Schumer's rabblerousing against SCOTUS isn't I suspect a good look.
There are signs of a possible Democrat upset in California - new man Newsom isn't impressing voters.... and some new laws are hitting trad Democrats directly in their wallets.
If you enjoy chewing aluminium foil (as opposed to fashioning headwear with it) - you're likely in luck.

The Ludovico Technique gets an update then?

Hammer meets thumbnail.
The Democrats know that Biden is the candidate with the best chance of beating Sanders, and he cannot be retired under any circumstances yet.
The idea that Obama is being lined up to succeed as VP seems logical to all Democrats, apart from Team St Hillary, as she knows that it is her anointed right to be President, by fair means, or any alternative available to her, as Team Bernie already knows.
VP B Obama could line up M Obama to be VP should an Oval Office vacancy occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
Seems that DJT agrees with Joe
@Tomo clicked that link to Trump's tweet
but Twitter has changed the system, instead just putting the replies underneath
Twitter now gives you other things
So it only listed 3 replies (then a small link marked "More Replies"
Then below that 3 a Big heading marked "MORE Tweets"
.... The first one was Obama tweeting about Civil Rights
Trump campaign sues CNN over ‘false and defamatory’ statements, seeks millions in damages
https://www.foxnews.com/media/trump-campaign-sues-cnn-false-defamatory-statements-millions-damages
suing other media as well over the claims they made about him and Russia
No surprise with Twitter twisting stuff really - happens every day - likely every user now has a scored profile and a lot of automation going on. I've seen some well odd stuff going on.... their platform, their "game". They seem to think I'm a Senator Schumer fan .... never followed him - only ever seen his spoutings when others have retweeted etc... now his drivel shows up all the time.
As far as suing is concerned - the MSM have definitely picked on some people with considerable litigation experience and a pragmatic approach to legal action .... the likes of CNN are so arrogant that they have not done their homework at all :-)
Simply ages ago I saw an interview with DJT where he talked about suing people and being sued - it is clear he doesn't do it lightly and sounded quite dispassionate about it - wholly practical - he won't throw money away where there's little or no chance of a "good" result.
I don't know what proportion of suits fail - but one thing is absolutely certain if it's settled before it arrives at court we don't get to know the amount ..... - CNN got roundly stuffed by The Covington kids lawyer and there's a rack of other MSM outlets that are in the crosshairs
There are other individuals whose suits are also in the works at the moment. Svetlana Lokhova in particular deserves to have her defamation suits get to court - unfortunately partisan judges are a fact of life........
Viva Frei is going to have a content filled 2020 - bigtime
tomo, Sanders is still out front as the Democrat most likely to win the Nomination having alienated a healthy proportion of Democrats with his failure to understand economics and the average US Citizen. He has obviously studied Corbyn's great success story as told to him by one of Corbyn's advisors.
St Hillary must feel the urge to proclaim herself as the Saviour, to Unite the Democrats
