With Trump as President, even Climate Science has a greater life expectancy than the North Korean Dictatorship.

With assistance from China, and mass produced diesel engined electricity generators, it will be an interesting experiment to see how quickly the North Koreans become much happier with stable and reliable power in their country.

With Climate Science unemployment about to hit an Unprecedented 97%, some could retrain as diesel engineers, and do something useful to help an impoverished population out of the mess that they wanted to condemn everyone else into.

If you get into you'll see a quick analysis of some White House intel. One of which is the crater caused by the alleged sarin bomb. TBH my first instinct was that it was fake, the crater and the bomb just look wrong. Prof Postol's explanation could also be wrong, but he deals with the point that Supertroll alluded to in his statement that surely the intelligence community could not be so stupid by suggesting that they haven't analysed the evidence, or they have and have been ignored.

What we don't know yet, is the record of incontinence of Comey's former subordinates. Some may already have had a few timely quick leaks close to the White House, with more to follow.

As someone who is professionally close to this area. the running of an email server from home by the effective CEO (SoS) for the largest organisation on the planet (USA) would have resulted in termination of employment. In Clintons case it should have been prosecuted. Claiming a buffer of "ignorance" is no excuse for her, as it would not have been for someone in the business world. Anyone with any sense of the issues knows it was a firing offence for Hilary.

Comey let her get away with it (apparently against the advice of senior staff) and did it in a very public way. From that point he was at the mercy of the political winds. He had no friends.

The FBI director is one of the most senior jobs on the planet. After leaving, he shouldn't publicly be seen to piss on the boat from the dock. So he has to be careful. Publicly at least.

Jiminy. I heard Comey's words again on the News when he closed down the investigation that "in the FBI's judgement HC did wrong but no one in the Justice Department would have sufficient evidence to prosecute her" (paraphrasing). I don't think the Justice Department before or after the election demurred.

The timing and the manner of Comey's dismissal stinks, especially after Trump's comments praising Comey for reopening the case.

I'm sure Comey's pissing will be very discrete.

Everything is defined by politics in the US, not least justice. Remember when they wanted to impeach Bill in the 1990's? A large part of the public showing by Congress was moral indignation. However, it was totally political and played out on party lines. Gore with his hanging chads? Why is such store placed in US Supreme Court political persuasions? In the UK we just assume Justices are all just establishment figures displaced from the reality of everyday life.

The US governance is deliberately split into Military, Legislature and Justice. And they all battle politically not morally. No one branch is meant to become too strong.

Whether anyone is prosecuted or not is not only connected to the rational assessment of evidence. That goes for whoever is in power. Morals are political weapons and as has been shown science is too.

A "dozen" as opposed to "a few"?

I note two things; one is a main point in the resignation letter from Trump to Comey about the mishandling of Hillary, and the other was Trump's quip during one debate about putting Hillary in prison if he were in charge of the Justice Department. Her quaking is Richter large enough to be felt worldwide, well maybe the tsunami from it.

Trump still has one distinguishing characteristic in the US political context: As an 'outsider', he is not a direct product of the political system and so will have far fewer skeletons in the usual lockers. His skeletons are still more likely to be in the places his opponents are already looking: his business dealings.

Does anyone know how many scandals involving Mr and Mrs Clinton got squashed by Progressive Democrats in positions of Authority?

It all smacks of Climate Science. Or is it all part of the same corruption?

Who put pressure on Comey to close the original investigation into Hillary? What pressure caused him to change his mind at such a critical time?

What EVIDENCE do you have that leads you to conclude that someone put pressure on Comey to close the original investigation into Hillary? Or exerted pressure causing him to change his mind at such a critical time? What could this pressure be that causes someone with the influential position he held to capitulate twice and to very different groups? Could it not be that, in reviewing the evidence available to him at the time, he made decisions without being coerced?
Can you conclude that no one acts honourably if they occupy positions of power and influence in Washington?
Remember "benefit of the doubt".

Despite his previous conclusions, Comey announces he has not concluded, at a most convenient time for Trump, but provoking outrage from Democrats, that still lingers on.

"Benefit of the doubt", like "innocent until proven guilty" are not expressions in common usage around US Politics, but they are being used as double standards in this instance, Trump is always deemed guilty, and Clinton presumed innocent.

How does it all look if Clinton is presumed guilty, and Trump not always guilty? Remember that many Democrats were not happy with Clinton, and not all Republicans support Trump.

The whole thing stinks. Was Clinton given the benefit of the doubt and presumed innocent, before being found to be guilty? Trump, and the Republican Party might have found that difficult to engineer. IF Comey "compromised" his independence and jmpartiality under the Obama administration, who stood to gain?

Are you presuming Trump to be guilty, beyond all reasonable doubt, of interfering when Comey concluded Clinton's innocence? If not, who did? Is it possible that aggrieved and concerned Democrats caused Comey to reopen his investigation, and that Trump/Republicans (not necessarily the same thing) had nothing to do with it?
