Rhonda,
No Government will look in to bad batch data because it doesn’t fit their narrative that everything they did was for the public good…even though it appears more and more every day that everything they did just amplified medical, social and economic issues THEY created.
Bad batches? when someone makes a claim of bad batches using statistics and prima facie it looks plausible, the thing to do is not to use statistics again to cast unprovable doubt, but to investigate the batches them selves forensically.
If you don't do that it looks like you didn't want to find out whether the claims are correct. Perish the thought. What do the post-mortems say? You DID post-mortems, didn't you?
As you will have observed I have steered well clear of politics except where Climate is concerned. However I am appalled by the demonization of Israel by most of the media and especially the BBC. Whilst I am very upset by the deaths of "Civilians" (if you could differentiate) the whole of this horror is down to the Hamas terrorist and could end in an instant if they lay down their arms Israel has little choice but to peruse them. IMHO.
The John Anderson interview with Douglas Murray isn't very uplifting, but he has a refreshing bluntness. Had a chuckle at his politically incorrect observation about the Maoris. Apparently he doesn't think that being colonised is necessarily a bad thing.
One thing he touched on with the Israel/Gaza war is something that has always irritated me: the calls for Israel to respond proportionately. I've always viewed this proportionality as a purely subjective thing: you should retaliate in accordance with *my* level of outrage, not yours. His response is along the lines of Ok, proprotionate. So how many young Gazan men do we behead with shovels? How many Gazan women do we rape? etc. I think my interpretation is still right, but his "match them in barbarity" response is a much better way to skewer the argument.
There could be some calls for proportionality for the Kiwi whistleblower, but it'd be hard to hear them over the hammering where the gallows are going up.
tomo,
Sorry for accusations of being "wedded". It was your earlier use of "bad batch outcomes" that gave me that impression, but you did have bad batch in quotes which is a reasonable code for the present Kiwi sensation.
A bit worried for the whistleblower. He seemed very nervous doing that video. That will embolden the authorities to give him a rough time. An Assange would weather it better. A Snowden would have avoided capture. Will be very interesting to see how he gets along in affable New Zealand (aptly pronounced "effable" there).
Government (a) writes the rules and (b) licenses some people to break the rules (e.g. police). Those are essential powers of government, but they are also a magnetic draw for government to become organised crime. Given the money involved in renewables, that wind turbine money laundering caper has to be the tiny tip of the iceberg. If Mr Nicastri had paid a little more tribute to the *big* crime families the Europol investigation might never have happened.
Mailman,
Rushed vaccines always were a terrible idea. As you say, the disease fatality profile was mostly taking out people who were on the edge anyway. And even so they still had a chance: they had to catch it first. With vaccines, you aim to dose every last person, so any unknown ill-effects *will* happen and that's just what we're seeing: dying suddenly, as they say.
I think the question *is* being asked repeatedly. The lack of balls is with the people going to great lengths not to hear it.
@Ross Lea
Thanks for that link, I'll store it away for future reference. The recent (so-called) Energy Act includes provisions for giving some quite drastic powers to (I think local authority) snoopers, including powers of entry, to check up on energy efficiency of premises including homes - I do wonder just how far this lunacy is going to go.
Re the data leak guy.
Back in the day, early 2020 for a number of months ONS made it very easy to find data on the Chinese Death Pox infections and the thing that stood out was the data actually highlighted the groups most impacted by the Chinese Death Pox were fat unhealthy kients and those with several serious health issues.
Kids, practically f99king immune. Teenagers, the same. Young adults...yep, same. Those who were fit and healthy in older age groups...the same. Those in older demographics who were fit and healthy...yep, the same! (you have to say this in the voice off the internet meme "go to jail" :).
Now, it seems the fit and healthy are the ones suffering terminal sudden death syndrome and no one has the balls to stand up and ask the hairy questions at the covid enquiry around why this is happening in a group highly vaccinated??

There is some interesting information on Smart Meters by Martin Lewis
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/can-i-be-forced-to-have-a-smart-meter/
I particularly note that if you have a Smart Meter forced on you you can request it be put in to "dumb mode"..
"If you do end up with a smart meter and you really don't want one, your only option is to request your supplier puts it into 'dumb mode" when with no Smart functionality it will behave just as a conventional meter. He does not save whether you can insist on a "dumb" functionality ?
Ross Lea,
You're wise to have tried to stay focussed on climate. I'm not doing very well on focus (I think it's because there is so much cross-pollination between political fields). One principle I still *am* sticking to is deciding my political views for myself. It seems that social media "silos" lead to a lot of people having standard packages of views provided for them, predigested. Like McDonald's food, convenient but unsatisfying.
rhoda klapp,
I'm sure some post-mortems were done and deemed inconclusive (translation: not the conclusion we wanted). Next step is to go to statistics which, with a bit of fancy footwork, can always be coaxed into giving the desired result. That's why we pay the experts the big bikkies.
Mailman,
Video was indeed interesting. Can't say I'm surprised to hear that they're homing in on a conclusion of: we didn't do the daft things early enough or strictly enough. I see triple-masking mandates and lockdowns using 4" nails in your future, so cheer up.
