Sunny Hundal doing the Press Preview on Sky News until midnight I think (Friday). I remember him from some ludicrous CC articles last year (in the Guardian?). Already got some superbly ineloquent guff about the predicted (wot again?) hot summer proving AGW.

How do these guys get the spotlight?

Anyway, entertaining stuff.

Taken from a thread on CIF "If the world ended tomorrow, what would you do?" http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifamerica/2011/may/20/day-of-rapture-end-of-the-world

'An American evangelist priest says the day of Rapture – the start of the end of the world – will be Saturday 21 May.'

I would ring up George Monbiot and tell him he's got competition!

Worth a reccomend, I think.

"MPs to Watch
CaSE has drawn up a list of those MPs with an interest or background in science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) in Parliament. We are currently working with many of these MPs and urging them to engage with science and engineering issues. If you wish to give us any feedback on the list"

Hopefully this is good news and they can't get money by other means.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has today quietly announced that the Carbon Trust and the Energy Saving Trust will no longer receive core grant funding from next April.
