"In fact the whole of the Uk's Climate Change Act rests on the threat of judicial review by green groups. Was only 'penalty' we could agree."

We have leagl threats from GREENPEACE to thank for the Carbon Budgets......

"I understand that a key factor in the decision to go with the carbon budgets advisers recommendations was a threat by Greenpeace to take the government to judicial review if it gave way to business lobbying."

@ Jane Coles (May 16 9:37pm)
- The electrochemical constraints on LiIon battery lifecycle/charging time/capacity reduction etc are far too little known and of crucial importance.
- The increase in demand for electricity as the national fleet is electrified is not discussed. All we hear about are renewables and the necessary rationing via smart meters of an increasingly inadequate supply.
- Put all three together with an energy policy set to diminish our existing baseload generation capacity and disaster is assured.
That's why it's so desperately important to argue loudly against the various lunacies touted by the energy fantasists. Before it's too late.
Canada loses FITS.

Oh this is priceless:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1387789/Chris-Huhnes-estranged-wife-testify-asked-speeding-points.html
The LSE provides evidence that Vicky Price, Chris Huhnes former wife, was at one of their conferences in London at the time that 'Toad' picked up a speeding offence on the M11 in Essex from a fixed camera. Miss Price is willing to testify in court to the fact!
Brrrmm brrmm, peep peep.
More cr@p from the BBC about carbon budgets. Yet again, only Greenpeace and FoE are allowed to provide an opinion. Where is the balance? Who said the BBC is biased?
Headline today (16 May 2011) in the New York Times:
"U.K. Plans 50 Percent Cut in Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2025"

Congratulations !! ...from one of the less progressive colonies (Canada) /sarc
Useful Denninger post on the electric car fantasy: "hype must give way to physical and chemical reality".
Lovely diatribe about green doom-mongers in the Telegraph: Green predictions of End Times are just as demented as Christian ones – so why are they treated more seriously?
