So, when Joe Biden says, ‘Build back better,’ that better includes building back in a way that is resilient, that is green, that protects the planet.”

In February of last year, Pelosi reportedly disparaged the moniker of Democrats’ “Green New Deal” by referring to it as “The Green Dream, or whatever they call it.”

Pelosi believes there is nothing wrong with continuing the US Democrat tradition of interfering with Irish, British and EU politics, and framing political rivals for crimes that were never committed.

GC. Oh I do believe that the USA was instrumental in chairing and coordinating the Peace Talks that lead to the Good Friday Agreement (= Interference?) and was invited to participate in them by both the British and Irish Governments. So the USA could be said to have a valid interest.

AK, does the fact that the US helped bring about the Good Friday agreement mean that they are entitled to f11k it up?

The US was heavily involved in the Peace process. US Citizens and Corporations had helped to finance the IRA, and support its development into Organised Crime, Protection Rackets, Punishment Beatings, Knee Capping, Religious Violence, Ethnic Cleansing, Discrimination etc.

What is Pelosi's vested interest in preserving the status quo? She is a spoilt brat, rich kid, who never grew up, despite many years of opportunities.

I am quarter Irish. My family has been adversely effected by Irish Politics for over a century. I am thankful for the "Peace" and deeply suspicious of those that threaten it for selfish political purposes and monetary gain. That does include all politicians irrespective of their Party or Religious affiliations, and Pelosi is a prime example

I am not denying the role Democrats did play in the Peace Process, and the beneficial consequences for all of those living on the Island of Ireland.

I am not denying the role of selfish politicians on the Island of Ireland and abroad in stirring up trouble for their own gain, and that includes those in the US and EU. I do not blame Leo Varadkar for opposing BREXIT at the Referendum stage, but he has been one of the arch saboteurs ever since, and now the people of Ireland are all going to suffer the consequences of his tactical errors.

I don't deny the benefits of the Camp David Treaty managed by Jimmy Carter that heralded an uneasy peace between Egypt and Israel, even though neither side met each other for the duration until the stage managed smiley photo opportunity.

US Politicians should be addressing the historic wrongs committed against Native Americans, not inciting them and manipulating them for their own political advancement.

Creating "Peace" is not the same as creating reasons to be peaceful for future generations.
