Those 25 phones .... the call records and text messages persist in a variety of places....

Always best to read the actual 'evidence'. Looks like bog-standard inventory control to me, also - check the timescale.

The previous White House administrators would simply falsify any records if there was no evidence, now they have destroyed records in the hope of destroying evidence.

It all fits with the previous White House administration having been infiltrated by Hockey Teamsters

.... and along comes Mann to prove his dishonesty:

https://www.climatedepot.com/2020/09/12/former-un-lead-scientist-michael-mann-rants-tucker-carlson-is-both-a-climate-change-denier-and-a-racist-fck/

Michael Mann, a former United Nations lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, smeared Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson as being “both a climate change denier and a racist f#ck.” Mann, a Professor of Atmospheric Science at Penn State, tweeted his comment on September 11, following a Carlson segment “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” on California wildfires and the politicians scapegoating “climate change.”

"Mann was a UN Lead Author on the UN IPCC Third Assessment Report in 2001 (which included his now infamous ‘Hockey Stick‘ temperature claims) and an expert reviewer to the UN’s Fourth Assessment Report in 2007. Mann has also falsely claimed he won a “Nobel Peace Prize” and was at the center of the Climategate scandal."

Your ability to assess evidence has always been "Fit for Bog" standard.

What the documents obtained under FOI actually show is a log covering a 2 year period of phones and other IT hardware being reviewed as it is returned, most likely as part of a routine staff exit process. There's no evidence presented of a special request by DOJ for the phones to be returned and the log ends in 2019, several months before Barr launched his 'investigation into the investigation'. I count around 19 as genuinely wiped, out of a total of over 130 returned., mostly by accident, things like the user losing the phone password or doing a factory reset. Some were actually wiped accidentally by IT staff after they were returned, and one because the screen was cracked.

It takes quite an effort to weave a conspiracy out of such a banal IT support log, however Judicial Watch have given it a good try.

In addition to being an exceptionally distinguished scientist, Dr Mann seems to me to be also an excellent judge of character!.

Judges have ruled he is not an honest character, in fact, not trustworthy at all.

In my experience those "errors" requiring a factory reset are these days quite rare -and- if it's an Android device - a competent IT department could have restored the device data or retained a specialist to do the job - in the case of government devices - a compromised or "forgotten" password is a direct security issue which should trigger some level of audit. Judicial Watch are being obsessive, Mueller's troupe of goons are being evasive.... Apple devices are outside my knowledge - but given the FBI / Federal issues with accessing iPhones - I'd be surprised if users are allowed to use random, unmanaged passwords.

There are other repositories for data beyond the handset. Judicial Watch have good reason not to trust folk involved in the Mueller Russia Collusion business ... how does it usually go ? - "nothing to hide, nothing to fear"?

I suppose that if the phones actually contained stuff that wasn't replicated elsewhere then we'd be seeing "it slipped out of my hand as I was looking at the pulveriser" or "I dropped it in the sea while yachting".

In Climate Science, "It fell down the loo while I was extracting data"

These were Apple iPhones set to self-destruct after a set number of incorrect password/passcode entries. The majority of the wiped phones were reset this way. If you look at the log most were returned within a few days. If you have some 'incriminating evidence' on your work phone, why would you not just delete it? Why go for the nuclear option of wiping the whole device and losing all your other emails, attachments, texts and contacts? And why use such a clumsy method? Doesn't add up.

Cockup not conspiracy. Another nothingburger.

Another confirmation of Climate Science involvement

Not much about the Mueller investigation adds up as far as "Trump-Russian Collusion" is concerned.

How many times have you forgotten the password / passcode for a company issued device?

If I had an employee or minion that managed to do that - I would find them something to do more attuned to their obvious lack of talent.

Time to jail Schiff and his lying and deceitful bent journalists for leaking Classified information that he had helped to fabricate.

Why Schiff and Kamala are not to be trusted, as they claimed faith in Climate Science less than a year ago.

https://www.sierraclub.org/press-releases/2019/11/heres-what-theyre-saying-about-green-new-deal

Rep. Adam Schiff: “The threat of climate change is urgent and existential. But it’s not too late to save our planet. We need to marshal all our resources and American ingenuity against the devastating effects of climate change. That’s why I’m proud to support the #GreenNewDeal.”

Senator Kamala Harris: “I’m proud to co-sponsor @AOC and @EdMarkey's Green New Deal. We must aggressively tackle climate change which poses an existential threat to our nation.”

Fraud corruption and lies have always been a Democrat, Climate Science and Californian problem. Put them all together and stuff catches fire, phones get wiped, and common sense loses.

I gave you lush forests to provide you and all animal life with shelter. What did you do? You managed it badly, refusing to clear the undergrowth. You blocked timber harvesting, underbrush removal, and controlled burns, leaving the forests with an excess of dried biomass so every lightning strike creates a danger of vast fires.

-Clarice Feldman, reproduced by the increasingly desperate Anthony Watts.

It's just a big and devastating lie

Senator Jeff Merkley (Oregon) on Trump blaming the wildfires on poor forest management.

Senator Jeff Merkley (Oregon) is a corrupt liar, along with the "Environmentalists" of California, Australia and the UK.
They are also incompetent, and unable to accept the consequences of their own deluded activities.

Even California Governor Gavin Newsom admits decades of forestry mismanagement. Why is he listening to the latest incompetents who continue the policies of mismanagement that created the conditions for fire to spread through areas they allowed so many houses to be built in? Selfish greed by Democrats has ignited California, again.

- just an acknowledgement even - but that's a sign of weakness when you're out to save the planet.
