I haven't done any wider checking on this, but according to SNOPES, George Bush has a much greener house than Al Gore

Apologies if this has been on before and / or discredited

Christy shone like a star, but Pielke's opening statement was a total disaster in terms of delivery. The committee Republicans appeared highly sceptical and confident, the Dems defensive and sombre.

Joseph Rowntree Foudation report - http://www.jrf.org.uk/publications/impacts-climate-change-disadvantaged-uk-coastal-communities -

on which WWF Scotland's Director Dr Richard Dixon spins: "We are only seeing the first impacts of climate change. There is more to come and potentially much worse. Scotland's weather will become more extreme and more unpredictable, meaning more droughts, floods, storms and even heatwaves. One area of greatest concern is the threat to coastal communities from climate-induced flooding and storms, on top of higher sea levels." - http://www.newsnetscotland.com/scottish-news/1758-wwf-scotland-warns-of-threat-to-coastal-communities.html

This has been little reported in the Scotsman and Herald - could it be that even the gullible Scottish hacks have finally realised the ridiculousness of Nixon's scaremongering - e.g. more droughts in Scotland!

http://www.thegwpf.org/science-news/2604-penn-state-university-whitewashed-climategate.html

A federal government inspector general has revealed prima facie proof that the so-called independent inquiries widely if implausibly described as clearing the ClimateGate principals of wrongdoing were, in fact, whitewashes. This has been confirmed to Senate offices. It will not be released to the public for some time because the investigation is ongoing.

The document, an interview transcript, will put an end to the foolish talk of anything resembling a ClimateGate “inquiry” having taken place. It will also invite a real inquiry into the affair. Expect fireworks ...

but also on Aussie surface stations
