Not impossible to imagine that if there was a briefing about an existential threat to the population of the USA - that the spooks would've leaked it to their media mouthpieces to add to Trumps troubles + woes at the time - is it? The dilution of Oval Office effort wrt "impeachment" (remember that?) would've been worth it ....
In truth the gates should've been unequivocally slammed comprehensively shut on China in January. If the spooks were on their game then they would know that unpleasant bugs from China recur and that the immediate neighbours are the canary in the coalmine. If you want to play this game Phil - then you should be able to regale us all with what did they know and when did they know it?
The accusation is likely to mutate and grow legs - if the spooks had any conviction and guts they would've put the briefing document about imminent apocalypse into the public domain via say erm... Wikileaks - but they haven't and didn't.
This variety of TDS has about as much going for it as a bog roll bandit in Tescos.
Mistakes have been made and we are *all* paying the price. In the second decade of the 21st Century everywhere is now next door thanks to air travel.

In countries where its widely used, chloroquine and alcohol is a common choice for suicides. Obviously, those receiving the drug under supervision will be carefully monitored, but there'll be nutters getting it off the internet, and apparently it is present in fishtank cleaner.. Just wierd.

Fish "tank cleaner" is over-egging it ... You've a bunch of exotic, expensive fish which are swimming in their own poo in a limited, shared environment which needs considerable management to maintain your investment (I prefer a screensaver - but hey-ho)
- so if you're suffering from white body slime, collapsed fins, itching, parasitic protozoan, oodinium, cryptocaryon - it might make the difference....
Some testing *has* been done (In France aiui) and the take-away (untainted by any interference from DJT) is that in the absence of a regulated specificity to a particular condition, the use of quinine in tandem with azithromycin should be trialed on COVID-19 Wuhan coronavirus in vivo.

As it stands there are few if any options and existing, licensed products (as in this case) which show activity against the coronavirus must be deployed.... there is quite a bit to lose and much to gain.
I think that "Trumps says take poisonous fishtank cleaner" is both deeply ignorant and poisonous in itself - but then again like the goldfish in a bowl that is constant surprised by the miniature lighthouse - TDS has its own logic.
