If Sullivan’s motive has been to drag this out for as long as possible, he has done very well so far. This may be the high point of his career, and an excellent way of ending it.

It still isn't clear to me exactly *who* actually sanctioned the Flynn prosecution - and I'd wager whoever it was they are not keen at all for their decision to get full, unequivocal public attribution.

I think Sullivan will retire disgracefully, though not disgraced.
If appointed, Judge Jackson may knowlingly approve the use of deceit and lies by White House approved operatives, and reduce US Law down to levels that might interest Amnesty International, if they weren't too wrapped up with their funding sources and politics.
