Discussion > President Trump

Phil. "Americans now have the president they deserve. I hope he's everything they wished for." Remember it was actually a minority who voted for him. They don't deserve him.
Anyone hear about the much hyped investigation of the enormous voting fraud that deprived Trump of his real majority?

Feb 26, 2017 at 5:46 PM | Unregistered CommenterSupertroll

Gosh even more allusions kim?: Dinah: a reference perhaps to the rape of our opinions by our Shechemic opponents?

Phil and I might agree about Trump, but not much else I venture.

Supertroll: "Anyone hear about the much hyped investigation of the enormous voting fraud that deprived Trump of his real majority?"

It originated from 2 tweets by somebody called Greg Phillips, since apparently deleted. They read:

We have verified more than three million votes cast by non-citizens.

We are joining .@TrueTheVote to initiate legal action. #unrigged

Completed analysis of database of 180 million voter registrations.

Number of non-citizen votes exceeds 3 million.

Consulting legal team.

No analysis or methodology has ever been released by Phillips. That enemy of the American People, the BBC reported:

Even without Phillips yet disclosing how he arrived at his figures, Jennifer Clark, counsel at the Brennan Center's Democracy Program, says that a finding of several million illegal votes will go against all other credible research so far.
"This idea that there could be millions of fraudulent votes and truly nobody noticed, or there was some kind of vast conspiracy with election officials around the country, which is what it would take - it's not believable," she says.
"It's laughable".

Lying Loser Don gets his worldview from Fox and random tweets. Could things get any wierder?

Lying Loser Don ...

Phil, you seem to be foaming at the mouth. I think we get the picture of what you think about America's new president. No need to elaborate further.

Likewise your cut and paste of serial snob Amis, who characterises the half of the US electorate as "America’s losers". He just doesn't get it, any more than Hillary with her "basket of deplorables" got it. And just as the media did not prior to the election and now some months later still does not get it.

Recounts? Yeah, the one, perhaps the only one, in Detroit, Michigan found a third of the precincts with more votes than voters. That stopped the urge for recounting.

And Trump won Michigan. Somehow, no one is suggesting that the surplus votes in Detroit put him over the top. I wonder why.

It's funny that Amis mentions 'Joe the Plumber' as if he knew what he was talking about.

Yes, Mr Clarke, Supertroll, you are both up in arms that Mr Trump gained office while only getting 47% of the popular vote, yet you strangely ignore that Mr Clinton won his office with just 43% of the popular vote – another minority win, Minty, in case you missed the obvious, there. While you may froth at the mouth about one whom you do not like winning, you are silent about one whom you do like winning. Ain’t democracy a bitch, eh?

(Yeah, yeah… I know that you will dismiss that as harking back in history; I am just pointing out that you happily ignored that then, but are up in arms about it, now – and you, Minty, are one who loudly says that we should learn from history. Show some consistency, please.)

You also ignore that the “swing” of voters from the white males was actually non-existence – Trump’s success was from the swing from Hispanics, and an even greater swing from… du-du-duuuuh… the black males. Odd that.

Do you really want to see a bunch of liars? Look no further than Hollywood – it is filled with the well-to-do who pledged to leave the USA if Trump won. Trump has won, but – guess what? – those anointed ones are still firmly entrenched in Hollywood. Quite why you should trust such blatant liars is a paradox.

Clinton got more votes than any other candidate, unlike Lying Loser Don.

Oh, I think Mr Amis gets it. His prediction

And Martin Amis concludes that after a couple of days of pomp and circumstance in the White House, Trump’s brain would be nothing more than a bog of testosterone.

concisely describes the lone press conference disaster.

Who was responsible for causing so many Americans to vote for Trump because they did not trust Clinton? Perhaps Lying Climate Science Advocates like Phil Clarke?

If Obama had not welcomed John Holdren onto his White House staff, a highly spirited Clinton doubles act could be propped up in the Oval Office by now.

If just a few percent of voters changed their mind because of job destroying policies rooted in Climate Science, the Hockey Teamsters can claim to have triggered BREXIT and elected Trump. Another EU EXIT vote in 2017, could finish the EU aswell. If only Climate Science had denied Mann, and that dumb 97% Consensus.

That's all Politics Folks! (It certainly isn't Science)

Feb 26, 2017 at 9:30 PM | Unregistered Commentergolf charlie

Yep, thought so, Phil. There's another story about Joe the Plumber that Amis appears not to know, or perhaps he's suppressed it. Joe asked Obama an embarrassing question, in public.

Feb 26, 2017 at 5:46 PM | Supertroll

See above @9:30

The voting fraud involved in Cook's 97% Consensus was never properly investigated either, but Obama condemned US Citizens to unemployment because of it. The Guardian is still relying on it's credibility in their reporting of Climate Science.

The scale of injustice rooted in Climate Science is only Denied by Climate Scientists and their advocates. If the FBI get involved, like they did with FIFA, armed with International Arrest Warrants, Climate Science conferences may again grab headline news.

When it comes to Hollywood Liars, there will be a film about the Norman Invasion, 1066 And All That, showing them all in thermal underwear, to prove it was NOT warmer back then. They are just waiting for William M Connolley to amend the Bayeux Tapestry .........

Feb 26, 2017 at 9:56 PM | Unregistered Commentergolf charlie

Vote fraud investigation? Be careful what you ask for. MSM asked for this investigation after being provoked by Trump, and he has accommodated them. Is there any doubt some work will be done? No, it is money for jam, particularly in motor voter states.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:04 PM | Unregistered Commenterkim

Radical Rodent. I am not so concerned that Trump won with a minority of the vote. I am concerned that he is so arrogant as to want to disprove this, that he is willing to ignore all advice and investigate claims of fake voting that have zero chance of proving he won a majority. This narcissist is the person who has won the presidency. God help us all.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:09 PM | Unregistered CommenterSupertroll

Ah, yes, Joe provoked the Obama response 'I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody.'
=================

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:14 PM | Unregistered Commenterkim

Buried in fake news kim? My understanding is that Trump claimed the only reason he did not win a majority was that he was the victim of fraudulent voting. The MSM challanged him to prove his claims, which he (surprise, surprise) has singularly failed to do.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:16 PM | Unregistered CommenterSupertroll

Meh, Alan, Trump's response was a good deal more measured than your characterization. Look at his 'depending upon results'.

With a third of the precincts in just one city showing prima facie evidence of fraud, Houston, we have a problem.

More denial. Doesn't it wear you out a little?
===============

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:18 PM | Unregistered Commenterkim

Omigod, Alan, he called for a major investigation one month ago. This would entail much complicated wrangling with cities and states and is not something to be done well in one short month.

Will it get done? Evidence for the partisan nature of cheating is strong. I'll bet it will get done, there is a lot at stake.

You don't think anything is happening because MSM is silent about it. Detroit struck them dumb. Shocking.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:22 PM | Unregistered Commenterkim

Kim it was Trump's claim that is under question. Upon what evidence was this made? If he were confident enough to make the claim why hasn't his "evidence" been forthcoming? Or could Trump have been making false claims - spreading fake news - horrors! The man seems to be an inveterate liar.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:37 PM | Unregistered CommenterSupertroll

The man seems to be an inveterate liar.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:37 PM | Supertroll

He has yet to lie about the 97% Consensus, but nobody has yet asked him whether he has asked US Law Enforcement to have a look at Climate Science Fraud, Lies, and misappropriation of Taxpayer Funds.

Climate Scientists are all veteran liars, with great support from 97% of Progressives.

Feb 26, 2017 at 10:59 PM | Unregistered Commentergolf charlie

Alan, you might not be aware of the busses, or of the casual manner in which citizenship is established, particularly in motor voter states. There is plenty of evidence of cheating, and there is evidence of the one sided partisan nature of it.

How much? I dunno, nor does anyone. By mocking her margin, Trump has gotten the Democrats, at least briefly, to subscribe to the idea of an investigation of the phenomenon, something they would otherwise have been very loathe to do.

Artful dealing, hmmmm. The side which will lose with investigation has now demanded it? Phil, keep it up.

She further concludes that current climate models:

“are not fit for the purpose of attributing the causes of 20th century warming or for predicting global or regional climate change timescales of decades to centuries, with any high level of confidence.”

“are not fit for the purpose of justifying political policies to fundamentally alter world social, economic and energy systems.”

I suppose the US Electorate had had enough of incompetent lying Progressives, and decided Trump was more trustworthy than Clinton. They chose the better candidate.
