I wonder if Nate's placed a wager?

We're at a weird moment where—amid understandable concern that Trump could steal or delegitimize a close election—people seem to have forgotten both that the most likely outcome is a fairly emphatic Biden win *and* that Trump has a decent chance (20-25%) to win legitimately.
documentation getting a bit whiffy
Christopher Steele's main source for the dossier?
He was the subject of a nearly two-year long FBI counter-intel investigation (2009-2011), under suspicion of being a Russian spy and a "threat to national security."
I suspect there's a few UK spooks who have some remorse about getting sucked in to this mess.
The media keeps implying the Trump is acting like a dictator. Yet all these crimes occurred during Obama administration and most likely at his direction.

that Steele PSS Danchenko was subject of counterintel investigation in 2009, because of suspicious conduct in 2008. Everyone jumps to conclusion that Danchenko must have been spying for Russia, but maybe it was....

...Steele.
The only way we can lose is if they cheat -
If they cheat, we're not going to have a friendly transition

A peaceful transfer of power is prescribed in the US Constitution. You know, the one Trump swore an oath to defend.

I’m waiting for the presidential go to start open firingWell Saturday may be that go lol
'Saturday' was August 22 in Portland. In the event, thankfully, the violence remained non lethal. But if November goes the way the markets are predicting, and Trump refuses to concede defeat, well, what then?
That 'progressive' Trump.
Trump contradicts Trump. Part 95.
A perfect example of critical race theory was recently published by the Smithsonian Institution. This document alleged that concepts such as hard work, rational thinking, the nuclear family, and belief in God were not values that unite all Americans, but were instead aspects of “whiteness.” This is offensive and outrageous to Americans of every ethnicity, and it is especially harmful to children of minority backgrounds who should be uplifted, not disparaged.
(Unusually articulate, no?)
I have black guys counting my money. … I hate it, The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day. Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that.

Same sources that promoted the fraud and corruption of Steele's Dodgy Dossier, lying to Senate, Congress, Courts, FISA Courts, the entire US, the UN, entire population of the US, EU etc. They all believe in Mann's Hockey Stick.
The Committee found that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian effort to hack computer networks and accounts affiliated with the Democratic Party and leak information damaging to Hillary Clinton and her campaign for president. Moscow's intent was to harm the Clinton Campaign, tarnish an expected Clinton presidential administration, help the Trump Campaign after Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee, and undermine the U.S. democratic process.
Report Volume 5 of the bipartisan Select Committee on Intelligence.
The report is in fact highly critical of the Steele dossier, judging it the result of substandard tradecraft.
The document is 900-odd redacted pages, there's a precis here.
NYT has published information from Trump's tax returns, but not the returns themselves to protect sources. Apparently he paid $750 a year in federal income tax in the first two years of his term and nothing in ten out of the previous fifteen, as his self-reported losses, mainly from Trump brand businesses, were greater than income. The Times describe this as 'chronic losses and years of tax avoidance'
Part of the reason he paid little or nothing was a $72.9 million tax refund dated 2010 that is the subject of an ongoing audit by the Internal Revenue Service.
Despite reporting losses, he funds his lavish lifestyle by aggressive tax avoidance, mainly charging as much as possible as a business expense, including his residences, aircraft - and $70,000 for hairstyling while he worked on The Apprentice.
There are previously unreported financial links to foreign entities - though not in Russia.
In 2012, he took out a $100 million mortgage on the commercial space in Trump Tower. He has also sold hundreds of millions worth of stock and bonds. But his financial records indicate that he may have as little as $873,000 left to sell. He appears to have paid off none of the principal of the Trump Tower mortgage, and the full $100 million comes due in 2022. And if he loses his dispute with the I.R.S. over the 2010 refund, he could owe the government more than $100 million (including interest on the original amount).
Trump has called 'fake news' and a lawyer for the Trump Organisation has disputed the reports, saying Trump in fact paid millions of dollars in tax over the last decades. Well - there's an easy way to prove that is there not ;-)

Climate Science continues to produce fake facts, fake science, fake news and fresh lies
Tax avoidance is legal and practised by almost everybody who has to file their own taxes versus normal PAYE withholding tax on income payments to employees. Tax avoidance includes things like pensions and other financial vehicles which are promoted by the state....
Tax evasion is criminalised in most jurisdictions.
I see considerable conflation of avoidance with evasion.
Given that the Obama administration's IRS head Lerner conducted targeted persecution of GOP individuals and 501(c) not for profits to the point where she invoked the 5th Amendment when asked about it - it's something of a mystery as to why the dirt on DJT has been so slow to emerge - no?
I wonder what US voters think about Trump's taxes while people are burning shit down and shooting cops.
