In the debate, Joe said he hadn't taken a "penny".

Will the MSM ask if Biden lied? Will the MSM ask what Obama and Clinton knew about it?

I think we all know the answer to that.

I stayed awake for the first 30 minutes last night, and I have to say at that point I would have awarded the debate to Trump. Looks like Biden improved.

The articles refer to the Chinese Ambassador to the US. Even his Wikipedia entry shows him shaking hands with a racketeering US Democrat

Will the MSM ask if Biden lied?

He didn't.

Try Googling 'Fact Check Presidential debate'.

https://bfy.tw/PRVT

There are articles from NBC, CNN, BBC, ABC, FactCheck, The Independent etc., etc., etc. Too many to read all of them, but you will no doubt be shocked to learn that Trump does not emerge as a beacon of Truthiness.

Here's Bloomberg on the China allegations

Trump claims Biden got money from China and Ukraine through his son Hunter:

CLAIM: A man named Tony Bobulinski told reporters in Nashville before the debate that Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s son, recruited him to be the chief executive officer of a proposed partnership between a Chinese company and the Biden family.

At an event called by the Trump campaign, Bobulinski said that a May 13, 2017 email from Hunter Biden called for providing a stake in the company for “the big guy,” which he said was a nickname Hunter often used for his father. But Bobulinski, who was invited by Trump to be his guest at the debate, offered no evidence and took no questions. Bloomberg News can’t verify that Bobulinski has any connection to Hunter Biden or his father.

Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement that “Joe Biden has never even considered being involved in business with his family, nor in any overseas business whatsoever. He has never held stock in any such business arrangements nor has any family member or any other person ever held stock for him.”

On Ukraine, Hunter Biden served on the board of Burisma, an energy company there. The New York Post says a laptop allegedly abandoned by Hunter Biden included emails suggesting the former vice president met with a senior official from the company. If true, it contradicts Joe Biden’s insistence that he had no involvement in his son’s business dealings and never discussed them with him. Bloomberg News hasn’t verified the authenticity of the emails, and the Biden campaign has denied such a meeting ever took place.

Biden has released his tax returns from 1998 through last year. The Bidens earn money in a variety of ways, including fees for speeches, royalties from books and salaries from teaching roles.

But so far the Bobulinski allegations seem like bubkes. At 10:47, minutes after the debate ended, the Wall Street Journal, part of the same media empire as Fox News and the Post, reported, “Text messages and emails related to the venture that were provided to the Journal by Mr. Bobulinski, mainly from the spring and summer of 2017, don’t show either Hunter Biden or James Biden” — the former vice president’s brother — “discussing a role for Joe Biden in the venture.”

Even if Bobulinski is telling the truth, that Joe Biden knew about the China enterprise, it’s not clear what the scandal is — he was a private citizen at the time and not yet running for president. Trump has elevated an unsubstantiated assertion that Biden had knowledge about his son’s legal and failed business venture to a “crime” for which he “should be in jail.” To put in context how absurd this allegation is, one of the first things George W. Bush did after he left the White House was deliver a paid speech in China. Somehow he remains at large.

All the usual suspects, declaring Biden innocent before looking at all the evidence or questioning the witnesses.

The emails made available by Bevan Cooney.

Tony Bobulinski : electronic devices and records of business dealings with Hunter and Jim Biden.

The information on Hunter's laptop.

After a cursory consideration of material, the bulk of which is as yet unavailable to them, the MSM says "innocent".

"In August 2001, BIDEN visited China for state-level talks with then CPC Chairman Jiang Zemin (江泽
民), where BIDEN was tough with China on issues such as weapons proliferation, its judicial system,
and human rights record. 48 But as the 2000s progressed, BIDEN became gradually more
accommodating of China’s rise. In 2004, he was pictured meeting the Chinese Ambassador to the US at
the time, YANG.
49
Many other US politicians were also supportive of free-trade with China, primarily because US
companies wanted access to the one billion plus consumer market. As history shows, China failed to
wholly open up its domestic market to foreign companies.
In some sectors (generally the profitable ones), access was limited, forcing other countries to seek
international remediation. That China failed to deliver was not necessarily a US policy or BIDEN policy
failure, but BIDEN’s approach has differed somewhat with other senior US politicians at the time.

As the Chinese economy developed rapidly in the 2000s, and it threatened US hegemony
in the Asia Pacific region, BIDEN became increasingly supportive of China’s supposed
benign and peaceful rise. Not only that, but his son HUNTER, forged close business ties
with the CPC, and received money or other benefits from the Chinese state."

Just an example of some detective work that needs to be done :

"Secret Service logs obtained earlier this year by Senate investigators include dates and locations matching those discussed in the emails allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

The alignment of the dates in the emails and the Secret Service protective detail logs is significant because the authenticity of the emails, first published by the New York Post last week, is the subject of heated debate."

Some more interesting material :

"Late Summer 2006: Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden, purchase the hedge fund Paradigm Global Advisors. According to an unnamed executive quoted in Politico in August, James Biden declared to employees on his first day, “Don’t worry about investors. We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.” At this time, Joe Biden is months away from becoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and launching his second bid for president.

The unnamed executive who spoke to Politico charged that the purchase of the fund was designed to work around campaign-finance laws: "According to the executive, James Biden made it clear that he viewed the fund as a way to take money from rich foreigners who could not legally give money to his older brother or his campaign account. “We’ve got investors lined up in a line of 747s filled with cash ready to invest in this company,” the executive remembers James Biden saying.""

It includes …

A spokesman for James and Hunter Biden said no such episode ever occurred.

And

There’s no evidence that Joe Biden used his power inappropriately or took action to benefit his relatives with respect to these ventures.

Pretty tenuous, no? But do keep digging, you know what they say about throwing mud….

Phil Clarke, Charles Lipson lays it out in the Spectator US in a way that should make it clear, even to you.

"The main allegations are that the Biden family got rich on pay-to-play schemes. They monetized Joe’s power as the sitting vice president and, after he left office, his strong position to win the 2020 Democratic nomination. The allegations, so far, have not been that Joe was paid directly, although notes about one deal allocated 10 percent to be held by ‘H for the Big Guy’, alongside slices for ‘H’ (his son, Hunter) and ‘JB’ (Joe’s brother, Jim). The principal allegations are that the family members got rich off Joe’s position, and did so with his knowledge and help. That is far from proven, but more evidence has been coming out each day. The more directly Joe Biden is implicated in these schemes, the more damaging it is politically."

https://spectator.us/serious-debate-leaves-biden-with-lingering-bruises/?utm_source=Spectator+USA+Email+Signup&utm_campaign=e1493a8295-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_8_31_2020_19_27_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_edf2ae2373-e1493a8295-154564685&mc_cid=e1493a8295&mc_eid=2fb6c8d528

Also, the timeline is from 1979 to 2020. I don't think Biden qualifies as a "private citizen".

"“This morning lawyers for Tony Bobulinski informed the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and Senate Finance Committee that the FBI asked his client to sit for an interview today in addition to providing copies of his phones,” Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson’s office said."

Don't expect the dirty cops to do anything until after the election. However, much more is to come before the election. A second term for Trump could well mean a Special Prosecutor, and a team of 40 or so to dig through all the dirt.

That is far from proven

Guilty until proven guilty around here, if your name happens to be Biden. You've provided precisely zero hard evidence that Joe Biden (you know - the presidential candidate) has done anything wrong.

Presumably the EU and Climate Scientists are working on the same presumptions of future revenue as the Biden/Democrat corrupted crime gangs

https://wattsupwiththat.com/2020/10/23/climate-warrior-biden-promises-to-shut-down-the-us-oil-industry/

"During Thursday’s Presidential debate, President Biden made a clear statement that he intends to transition away from the oil industry. My question – what part does Burisma play in this plan?"

"Obviously a scheme to shut down the US fossil fuel industry incurs a risk that the fossil fuel industry might be “transitioned” too quickly, that an energy gap might develop as the US fossil fuel industry is decommissioned."

"Just speculating here, but perhaps that is why Biden’s son built a relationship with Burisma. Thank’s to Hunter Biden’s foreign oil and gas industry contacts, if a large transitional energy gap develops as US fossil fuel assets are decommissioned, say if the decommissioning process proceeds too quickly, companies like the Ukrainian gas giant Burisma will be able to step in, and help fill the gap between US supply and demand for energy by selling their product to the USA."

No acquittal before seeing the evidence. My view is that Joe Biden used his position as Senator and VP to enrich the family. I suspect that most of Congress ( R & D ) are on the take in one way or another. I am not on the jury, and seems likely that there will be no trial. No independent analysis of the evidence or of the financial records, and no questioning of witnesses. AG Barr is silent.

"Guilty until proven guilty"? Surveillance started and evidence fabricated as soon as they realised that Trump could well come through in the primaries.

Are the blue pills on repeat prescription, delivered by post? Together with a soothing dose of Vox or Salon? I hope you get better.

Apparently without irony you directed me to a summary that explicitly states the allegations against JB are far from proven. Hey ho, everyone is entitled to their own view, but not their own facts. Hearsay from unnamed sources, emails taken out of context, conspiracy theories, these are circumstantial evidence at best, not facts.

An ex-business partner of Hunter Biden, in a news conference organized by the Trump campaign, alleged that former Vice President Joe Biden was part of discussions around his son’s efforts to form an investment venture with a Chinese oil company. The Biden campaign denied Joe Biden had any involvement in the venture or stood to gain by it. In a statement to reporters Thursday, Anthony Bobulinski said that in 2017 Hunter Biden consulted his father about a planned venture with Chinese oil company CEFC China Energy Co. to invest in the U.S. and elsewhere. Mr. Bobulinski was also a partner.

The venture—set up in 2017 after Mr. Biden left the vice presidency and before his presidential campaign—never received proposed funds from the Chinese company or completed any deals, according to people familiar with the matter. Corporate records reviewed by The Wall Street Journal show no role for Joe Biden.
“Joe Biden has never even considered being involved in business with his family, nor in any overseas business whatsoever. He has never held stock in any such business arrangements nor has any family member or any other person ever held stock for him,” said Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates in a statement.
