Breitbart? Correct me if I am wrong, but the sum total of the evidence for 'grift' here seems to be one line from a six year old email.

I wanted to focus on the ‘other currency’ we are bringing to the table…direct administration pipeline.

Which was in a chain discussing a draft of a sales pitch. Whether the idea was used or quietly dropped we don't know. Whether the 'pipeline' refers to Hunter or other connections the firm had with the administration we don't know. In 26,000 emails you'd expect rather more than this one line if there was widespread wrongdoing going on.

There are other problems with these 16 words. They are in an email from Jason Galanis, described by Breitbart as 'Biden's business associate'. But hang on a moment. This is the Galanis who has since been convicted of multiple securities frauds, and in the trials it emerged that part of his modis operandi was to make fake promises about political access because of his connections with Biden Jr without Biden's knowledge.

I wonder why Breitbart failed to mention that little nugget? This just seems like an illustration of the risks of reading rather too much into a private conversation, seems to me more to indicate baseless boasting in a sales pitch (surely not?) from a subsequently convicted fraudster rather than anything based in reality.
