GC. "Climate Scientists created the US Rust Belt"
What utter tripe!

As for the extra voting slips being mailed out - If said journalist attempted to vote using those ballots he would fail signature verification, be charged with Voter Impersonation and be hit with a fine of up to $10,000.

Hardly worth the risk for one vote - but if the mailer-outers had the signature verification side of things covered = almost certainly "worth it" for thousands of votes? - would you deliberately mail out extra voting slips without making some provision to circumvent subsequent auditing?

It must be an evil Trump plan aimed at discrediting the opposition....

Really ... my point is that the extraneous ballots should NOT have been sent out and whoever (Republican or Democrat) did the deed should be rewarded by having multiple cameras in their faces and microphones under their noses. Deliberate or not, it is diluting the electoral process (and proving that the USPS appears to be functional - contrary to some assertions)

Another triumph for the propaganda of professional Climate Science liars. Is it a 97% consensus as approved by Obama?

AK

the Chinese Communist Party being accused of sabotaging US heavy industry I would have sympathy with - "climate scientists" less so. Easy profits from Chinese (and other) imports also a yuge - probably overarching influence on that situation - an area where Orange Man could likely be embarrassed too.....

What happened to US Manufacturing, heavy industry etc? Where is it now?

Oct 12, 2020 at 8:15 AM | Unregistered Commentergolf charlie

GC. US heavy industry became uncompetitive and its products were in less demand. This affected heavy industry across the world, including parts of China, creating rust belts. The Scottish version started even before climate change became a concept.

AK, I agree, but expensive electricity is not helping what is left. REACH has been a pain in the arse for electronics. Regs for agriculture the same. Not all to do with climate, but all to do with government sticking its nose in and doing little for the environment. Often making things worse.

Joe Biden’s AG short list (seriously):

- Cuomo
- Bharara
- Weissmann

Anyone else on Bishop Hill?

Any opinions as to whether the approach would work?

The vested interests are considerable ... some fancy footwork is required.

Schiff in particular deserves an appointment with a political taxidermist.

elsewhere:

Why does Joe Biden have to fly to another state just to mis-read from a teleprompter to 6 media people sitting in white painted circles - then take no questions?

Biden this morning couldn't remember Mitt Romney's name, referring to him only as "that Mormon"

Perhaps politicians making verbal slipups in live broadcasts is not actually that big a deal? After all, Joe Biden grew up with a stutter, an impediment he worked hard to overcome. Pulling him up on his occasionally stumbling delivery strikes me as both tasteless and utterly irrelevant to the wider policy debate.

[Not that Trump has shown the remotest interest in laying out anything resembling a policy]

uh? - give poor 'ole Joe a break?

I've seen one notionally Democrat interpretation of the assorted political memoirs (2016) that surmises that In 2008 Obama's team adjudged Biden as VP ribbon cutter material only and too "past it" to present any effective challenge to BHO but proficient in flannelling.

Biden's trajectory through the selection process against a field of mostly donkeys reflects the aging DNC backslapper leadership's last gasp - tbh it looks like they've been gorging inside the Beltway for so long I'm not convinced they understand anything outside Washington....

And yet, somehow Joe Biden is way ahead in the polls.

Lest we forget - Tomo, God love him, was totally duped by a fake tweet he falsely ascribed to AOC, described a 12-year old Youtuber's video about 'Wuhan Patient Zero' as credible, accused Barack Obama of corruptly taking an advance for a book that he had no intention of writing - just a few weeks before the same book was published, swallowed wholesale a lie about dead voters in Minnesota and got all enthused about the utterly absurd Project Veritas ballot harvesting thing. Sceptical about the 'MSM', Tomo thinks that O'Keefe's offering people thousands of dollars to lie on camera equates to 'sailing close to the wind'.

If I may quote … pfffffft.

Why did US (and UK and EU) goods become uncompetitive? Labour and energy costs?
Where are the goods being manufactured now?

Why has the Obama White House fabricated evidence against Trump?

GC. The "Obama White House" hasn't existed for more than three years, except perhaps in your fevered brain alongside a host of all-powerful and Machiavellian climate scientists. It has been the revolving-door Trump White House. Keep up!

with the complicity of the media?

https://www.scribd.com/document/479781400/Steele-Spreadsheet-1

with the FBI taking money from the MSM for 'information'?

https://www.scribd.com/document/381806566/IG-Report-on-FBI-and-DOJ-Handling-of-Clinton-Investigation#

"Later it was revealed that Andrew Weissman, Robert Mueller’s #1 special counsel prosecutor, was coordinating investigative efforts with the full support of four AP reporters who were giving Weissman tips. That’s information from journalists to use in his court filings and submitted search warrants. Make sure you grasp this: The AP journalists were feeding information to their ideological allies within the special counsel."

Is this the way it should work?
