Straw man. They are probably real, (though a favourite Russian disinformation tactic is to mix up genuine and fake intel to sow confusion) they just do not show what the right wing echo chamber says they do. The phrase 'hill of beans' comes to mind.

In the middle of a pandemic and the worst depression since the 1930s do you really think the average voter is going to care much about dubiously obtained old emails from one of the candidate's children? About a meeting half a decade ago that probably never occurred? And an electorate apparently at ease with a President who committed adultery with a porn star and then paid her off are unlikely to be phased by whatever home movies the younger Hunter may have made.

Seems to me this mythical average voter would more likely conclude that one side is getting desperate.
